Welcome to the Savage family!
I'm planning on doing the Hartman mod when the weather gets cold in Western NY. But the weather has been perfect here since June! NO rain! I don't want to waste good riding weather on getting into a potentially sticky situation, since I've never done anything like this before.
During the winter "hibernation" of my bike, I have some things I want to do. One of them is the Hartman mod. I'm thinking late October/early November.
I plan on adding my experience to my website, complete with before and after sound files and pictures of the process.
If you can be patient, look there. If you do it first, give us tips!
